when i bought my g2 integra with the b16 i noticed that when i hit vtec the bass in my 12 inch sub cuts out and when the rpms come down around 3 the bass comes back in. Also at night time when i hit vtec the lights get brighter??? now the guy told me that he put a new alternator on it that came from an ls. He also told me that the ls alternator was the only one that fit. Now wouldnt a del sol alt fit fine since the motor is a jap spec b16 with obd1??? and what could be causing the dimming of lights and bass in and out??

check the voltage of ur battery with a multimeter to see what ur readings are
