Default lube for storing a short block?

I have a b16 short block that is a fresh build with ctr pistons. been sitting for about 6 months now. its air tight in a heavy duty trash bag and had oil in on the cylinder walls. kept in a garage so it wasnt exposed to the elements.

well I went out to check the cylinder walls and make sure no surface rust has occurred and noticed there wasnt really any oil anymore.

what kinda oil should I use to coat the cylinder walls and turn the crack over a few times?

the head is finally ready to come back from the shop

When I rebuild mines I used gtx 5w20 which is what honda normally use. Then changed out the oil like 1,000miles later then 3,000miles like normal

^^^ x2. And don't forget to cover it w/ some type of big plastic bag, but make sure to leave a hole where at least air could circulate.

I meant to store it. with no head bolted to it. I have it in a plastic trash bag but I need to put more oil on the cylinder walls as theres not much oil left.

what oil do machine shops usually use when they assemble short blocks
