I blew the diff in a jdm gsr lsd tranny and had a usdm gsr diff with a phantom grip laying around, i put the good diff in the jdm gsr tranny but it doesnt seem to fit right. Should this swap work??

 

When you swaped the diffs did you change the diff bearings? I have never taken a honda tranny apart but I would assume the diff has shims between the bearings and the diff to adjust bearing preload. I would assume that the LSD diff has a diffrent clearence then a non lsd or vice versa.

 

Hey what ever you do, dont use the stupid phantom grip! i've seem the mess they make.. then you'll need a whole new tranny..
