Default ls/vtec problems!

i just started up my ls/vtec in my da for the first time yesterday. i started it up and let it idle for about 15 minutes. i changed the filter and the oil and took it out for a quick, easy drive up my block. i come back to check my fluids and it looks like there are small oil droplets in my anti-freeze. did i pop a head gasket? i dont think i did becuase i used the arp head studs and torqued them down perfectly. does anyone know what could have went wrong. also the engine smokes a little bit when i drive it. other then that the car runs beautifully.

thanks guys

Can't go wrong with a compression and leakdown test.
