Icon2 LS/VTEC intake back fire

ok everyone i have got an issue with my motor and cant find or get any insight on. I built the motor two years ago and it still only has 1300 miles on it. here is a parts list...
B18b block...
b16a head plained .020...
arp head studs...
b16 head gasket/water pump/timing belt...
ITR oil pump...
eagle H beam rods...
wiseco pitons and rings...
acl race bearings both crank and rod...
on the first start up i was running a garret 50mm turbo with RC 750cc injectors on a chrome basemap broke the rings in changed oil... it ran great had alot of power then got in a money bind so i pulled the turbo off and sold it. now im running stock injectors and a gsr ECU but it just wont run right. it backfires out of the intake really bad and has absolutely no power until it warmed up even after it warmed up it still seems very week. i did a compression test and found i had 180 on number 1&4 and 120/130 in 2&3 so i changed the head gasket and took the head in to get checked they said it was in good shape surface was flat and valves were sealing so i replaced the head gasket torqued the head down and im getting the same problem i just cant figure it out...

i also did a valve lash after the new head gasket install and 1,2,3 adjusted well but cylinder number 4 intake valves would not let me get the .007 feeler gauge in. i loosened the 10mm bolt and flat head screw all the way out and still couldnt get the feeler gauge in. i personally think i have a bent intake valve timing is dead on plugs are brand new dizzy is brand new wires are brand new

I'd double check that dizzy, sometimes even new ones can have a faulty connection, check the rotor too, and make sure your wires are plugged onto the correct posts, although i'm sure you wired it correctly. If it's not that i'd check the throttle position sensor.

Good luck, with timing being dead on and the head/valves being good it sounds like it could be something small and simple, yet a PITA to find..

did you check your compression after the head gasket change? maybe your rings were washed out from running a turbo on break in?

i checked compression after the new head gasket and came out with 210 in 1&4 and 150/130 in 2&3... with that being said im sure my rings must be done for but i just want to get a clue on why it backfires out of the intake if the rings are bad? or is there further problems i need to address along with changing the rings/bearings
