ls/vtec headgasket

Default ls/vtec headgasket

So i blew my headgasket today and am wanting to replace it tomorrow. My car is boosted and its a semi built ls/vtec. I think the company that built my motor put a factory head gasket in. Obviously, it couldnt hold it so I'm trying to figure out what to buy to put in it. the head was milled about 13 thousanths i believe and its an lsvtec. What do you all suggest as far as an upgraded headgasket?

do u have head studs? maybe the head lifted. factory head gasket is always a good choice. how many miles ont he motor?

arp head studs, what do you mean the head lifted!? that sounds pretty crazy. has 800 miles on the motor since the rebuild, which was honed to 81.5 mm, eaglle rods, je pistons, arp head studs and rod bolts, acl main and rod bearings and some other stuff. It didnt see over 4k rpms and no boost until 500 miles.

Head and block resurfaced? I've never had a problem with an OEM headgasket.

yes, block was redone by ERL and the head was sent to bell. the rebuild total was 4k, it wasnt a **** job. Im thinking either the company that put it together messed something up or the head shop did. It just doesnt seem like a headgasket should blow after 800 miles! im so heated
