Default LS/VTEC HELP!!!!

i need some help, i've got a obd2 LS with about 80k on it in my 97 DX. Car has SI wiring harness{already wired for vtec} and has a 00 si ECU. Car runs like a dream with the LS and 00 si tranny. I have a 00 si vtec head. QUESTION; What would i need to do to run a ls/vtec, as a daily driver? Are they reliable? Looking to do a p&p on the head and build it with some omni componets. vtec228

plug the head. buy the golden eagle conversion kit(sandwich, oil feed line, dowel pins, and i think head gasket). and then buy either new rods or ARP rod bolts.

yes, but you have to have the rod caps cut and resized otherwise you could spin a bearing
