Hi

Im wanting to fit a GSR main girdle on my LS/Vtec (B18B block) build.

I know that you need to use the GSR oil pickup and windage tray and sump with the conversion.

What I need to know is - can the 3 cap girdle work on the LS main caps (using the GSR pickup windage tray and sump) - or must you use the GSR main caps in order to fit the girdle ???

Im trying to avoid replacing the caps on the motor and needing to line bore it afterwards.

just buy a golden eagle or endyn girdle. it bolts up with no machining required.

i would just get the golden eagle girdle. if u use the gsr girdle with mains a line bore is a must since your tryin to put 2 diff motors together

Ive found a Z10 3 main cap girdle - and I have GSR main bolts - so all I'd need then would be the GSR oil pickup and oil pan or Moroso oil pan

Is this right ???

you need the B18C main bolts, windage tray, oil pickup, oil pan.

...and you are changing the torque sequence.

the z10 girdle is ok but be sure you dowel it to the mains. if it does not have dowels connecting it to your main caps you might as well not even put it on as it will do nothing for you. the b18c main girdle is doweled to the mains for a reason.
