Ls/Vtec Catch Can/PCV System?!?!?!?
Ok, i got the question that a lot of people have asked, and i have also searched. I havent found any real good info so... I got a p72 head and a obd2 ls block. On the ls, pcv is on the head, and gsr its on the block. Put the two together and im left with nothing. I am currently boosted and am havin some problems.
I have heard 2 solutions...
1. Tap a hole in the block and do something on that route... (which im kind of afraid to do seeing as how the engine is in the car)
2. Ken at cheapturbo.com told me to run a catch can with a pcv on top and suck the crankcase presure out the valve cover breather.
The reason i am having a problem is that the pressure is runnign up my oil return line and backin up oil in the turbo. Will running vacuum to a catch can suck the pressure of of the crankcase form the valve cover???

I use the Endyn setup, and would recommend it if you're looking for an all-inclusive solution. The crankcase pressure is relieved through the 2 oil drain channels on the back of the block, through a catch can w/ PCV, and sucked into the intake manifold. The valve cover is left connected to the intake tube, same as stock (on my 91 B18A, at least).
You would need to run the valve cover hose to your pre-turbo intake in your case.
