LS Vtec
Me and some friends have a disagreement on how to build LS Vtec motor. from what I have been hearing its a LS block and everything else is GSR. if Im wrong please correct me

type r oil and water pump
you can use a gsr b16 or type r head, b16 and type r's are pretty much the same and there the best to use..
and its also good to upgrade to a type r oil and water pump

LS bottom-end
Vtec head (B16,GSR,ITR,B17)
Oil Pump to use on the LS block.. Bseries 96+ oil pumps are all the same.. ITR GSR LS B20 who gives a crap.. I work for Honda and I've looked at all the part numbers if you're buying an ITR one you're getting robbed.. I just recently ordered a b16 one and it was a GSR part number.. $80... I called our Acura store $97 sooo we're playing the name brand game here with the oil pumps.
Timing belt to be used, will be depending on what type of water pump you're going to run.. ITR,GSR are the same. LS water pump you use a LS timing belt.. you get the picture..
