Default ls rod question

I have a 94 civic ex sohc vtec. A friend of mine has given me some ls rods to use if I want them, they are the stock ones out of his motor. I know they have to be better than mine, but the ? is will they fit without any modification, or will I have to have them trimmed down?

i don't think b-series parts will fit d-series engines..try selling them and use the money for your motor if he's just giving it you..

rods will need to be rebushed and sized to fit. This usually costs about $250. You can get a set of EAGLE ESP rods for about $350 and they fit right in. Newer rods don't require notching the block.
