Lowering An Integra In Jersey
i was just curious if anyone from New Jersey had problems after lowering their car, because im scared that if i lower it, it will get beat up, ive already scraped ground a few times with my stock height Teg
im a '91 teg ls.
kyb AGXs front, gr2s in back, all around eibach pro springs, ingalls camber kit, perfect 4-wheel alignment. dropped me about 1.5".
driving in jersey... well
its alright in moderation.... i goto college in south jersey, live in central jersey shore... the roads are terrible, espec after winter. i scape... lets just say alot. however, u have to be safe.... dont hit hills too straight-on, go from an angle, BEWARE of speed bumps..... and constantly be prepared for a dodging of a pothole in the winter.
all-around its ok, but it depends what kind of emotion attachment you have with your front crossmember(sparks can sometimes be seen eminating from this area). if you have a header that hangs below your crossmember, kiss its perfect cylindrical shape goodbye.
everytime i scape something, a tear rolls down my cheek.
basically.... if you're cautious go for the lowering. if you're a careless driver... dont do it.

I live in central jersey too and have been driving lowered cars since 2000ish. As long as your not DrOppEd y0 and have a functional lowered height (1"-2") then you will be fine.
