where is your oil press sensor placed @? Are you leaking any oil? Does anything happen when you rev it up/cange w/ psi? How many miles are on the motor? Could be an oil pump.

Make sure the bottom of your oil pan isn't smashed or collapsed. You can block the pickup tube's access to the oil and cause pressure problems.

you didnt install the sensor for the gauge? what engine does it have? I have herd the b16s run up as high as 75psi. As long as it moves up when you give it gas, then you should be ok. I have herd that FI cars need up to a quart more of oil depending on how long your oil lines are. Post in there and see what they say.

my auto meter oil pressure came with just the fittings and that plastic line... before.. the oil pressure went up to around 70 or 80 when i start up..but now it doesn't get that high anymore.... also..my car idles at 700rpm... i can't turn it up any higher than that.. .. the screw is turn all the way and its still around 700 to 800rpm only.. and my oil is very full.. this problem never happend before until bout 2 months ago...

yup check pan as someone said. stupid but often overlooked. change your oil filter and oil. if the gauge location is ok and nothing is leaking. if the problem isnt fixed. take off the pan and make sure your strainer isnt clogged. is your idle oil press ok? if its good at idle and bad at higher rpm you have a small restriction somewhere. if its just always bad you pickup or something is bashed in. change filter and oil first though please.
