low compression, what can it be?
got 95 gsr..head is milled...about 25 thousanth...new stem seals, retainers, and springs. this is the problem. the car won't start. it'll try to but it wont. did a compression test and cylinder 1 was at 120, and the rest at 140. that is too low! for all i know. could it be the stem seal? need help!

Is it getting gas? Is it flooded? Check your compression again after you get the engine warmed up.

those comp. #'s are way low, are you testing with the tb open?have you tried putting a cap of oil in the cylinders to see if compession changes, if not do a leakdown test.

It should still start. Anything over 100 psi is enough to get them started.
