I have a b16 and i replaced the rings and put in valve spring and titnm retainers
and tried starting the car no luck.. cheked the compression and all cyl were 140psi then took it all apart and put in the old valves it went to 160psi ...now keep in mind before i did anything the psi was 205-210 per cyl....

Im going to do a valve job so the valves seat better and test and try to start it again but the car does have all whats needed to start a car air, spark, and gas
but does the compression need to be higher to start or how high does it need to be to start....or do you have any other ideas (trouble shooting) that i can use to help
the engine just continues to turn and turn and turn

Over 100psi should be fine to get started. Sure you have your cams properly timed?

 

yea i do, the crank is at top dead center an the cams are alined as they should i dont really understand

what else could it be ...again the engine keeps turning and turning
