Loose Jumpy Steering Toe in front 0 degrees just aligned?? need help bad!
Ok my steering is very loose every imperfection in the road pulls my car to one side or the other it actually moves the steering wheel a decent amount. I just had my car aligned the toe in front is 0 degrees total. But in the rear right the toe is .32 degrees he adjusted it as far as it would go he suggested to raise that side in the back alittle to correct it. My question is do you think the toe in the right rear would cause the car to jump both ways? I was guessing tie rods but i am really not sure. Here are the numbers from the alignment. Thanks for any help
1990 honda accord
Left front
-.5 degrees camber
2.4 degrees caster
toe -.02 degrees
Right front
-.6 degrees camber
2.2 degrees caster
toe .02 degrees
Steer ahead -.02 degrees
Left Rear
-.8 degrees camber
toe .07 degrees
Right Rear
-1.2 degrees camber
toe .32 degrees
thrust angle -.13 degrees

Tracking, which is what you describe as the car following all the ridges is caused from a combination of tires (some do it worse than others) and toe. Toe out will cause more tracking. however, with zero total toe out I wouldn't think you should have a problem. Certian ridges in the road will yank my wheel around but I have -.1 degree of negative toe on each front wheel (a little more than -1/16th total). I'm going to guess the cause is the wheel with -.2 degrees of toe. That is more than I would want. Also, unless something is bent a shop should be able to match the two sides better. For instance mine is -.1 and -.09. You may need to find another shop, or look into fixing some bent parts.

Re: Loose Jumpy Steering Toe in front 0 degrees just aligned?? need help bad! (MattG)
ok i am retarded i thought i put it in right but i guess not i am tired it should all be correct now it is -.02 for the left front and .02 for the right front so 0 total. My rear however is .40 degrees total. .07 on the left and .33 on the right. I think my right might be alittle bit lower than the left in the rear would that effect it? I do not see how it would jerk the steering wheel because of the back wheels thought. The moving of the wheel is enough to scare the crap out of me on the high way if it moves enough. I put agxs on and I had just all season tires and stock honda wheels on before i got an alignment and i did not notice it at all I put on my oz racing 17s with kumhos and a camber kit in the front and got an alignment and right after that i noticed it pulling. Would the wheels being out of balance cause this? The steering wheel does not really shake it just jerk at every freakin bump or crack in the road. Thanks for the help
