Default Linkage bent?

I'm finishing up my ls/vtec swap, using jdm itr bronze linkage w/ es bushings. Went to hook up the linkage, and besides having trouble with the pin, the stabilizer bar end that hooks up to the **** on the transmission is very reluctant to go on. It took quite a bit of work to get it about 1/2 way on, and now im wondering if the bar is bent. The **** comes out of the tranny at a 90degree angle from the front of the car, and the bar doesnt look to be perpendicular to this.

If someone has any advice, or pics of this end of the linkage attached to the tranny, it would be most helpful. thanks guys.
