I picked up a motor that has a spun bearing, the engine shop said it might need a line bore. Does anyone know what kind of shops do this (the local shop does not) and also how much it might run me?


Please dont just say buy another block, this one was a bit pricey.

why don't you call the machine shop that you plan on having this done at?

around my neck of the woulds, it's about 200-250

 

I have been trying, but i cant find anyone local. One shop doesnt have the machine, the other cant do that small of a diameter.

One left to call tomorrow though.
