Default Depends on application..

..usually a stock b-series flywheel can be lightened by a few pounds, too much and it may shatter. I would personally use a itr/fidanza on a b-series. On the h22's I would suggest either the CM or Fidanza unit, since both are aluminum and made by Fidanza, you can't lose.
A lighter flywheel has a smaller moment of inertia, hence it spins more easily and allows the motor to rev freer and more quickly. Also, some proponents of lightened flywheels argue that having lightened that mass at the end of the crank and rotating assembly of the motor, provides less strain on the drivetrain and motor, hence extending engine life...believe it or not!
I say, go for it, just dont get a chromoly piece.
