Default Light grey exhaust valves

I removed my old header and put on a Greddy SS header yesterday and noticed that all of my exhaust valves were a light grey/white color. Does that mean that the engine is running on the lean side? I'm running a Vafc on a 94 lude vtec.

TIA

Anyone? I know if they were totally black, I would be running "rich". I just don't know how the "normal" exhaust valves look.

I am pretty sure the good ol' helms manual would tell you that.

That is normal for the exhaust valves - nothing is wrong with them.
