As the title says im contemplating giving my CRX the lexan effect! but being overseas its probably easier for me to source some of what its made of over here in the UK

Also does anyone know the rough weight saving to be had from doing this on a 88-91 CRX?

Think I sussed it, polycarbonate.

 

polycarbonate is ******* expensive, it is used in cd's and other higher end plastic kitchenware.

 

but surely buying polycarbonate is cheaper than buying actual lexan or FAL?

Is Lexan a company im presuming not a name for a certain blend of polycarbonate?

 

when you buy plastics in its raw form, it comes in the form of pelets (little *****)
You can also buy it in sheets or bars and what not from

McMaster can ******* suck it with their shitty prices. I've built entire roofs out of polycarb panels. It shouldn't be that expensive.
