leaking oil from dipstick plug?

hey i just had this block built and there is a small oil leak from the crack between the dipstick plug or whatever it is and the block could i jb weld it and will it be ok?

take off the oil pan, and tap it out with a hammer and socket that is the same diameter as the stick (im thinking 11 or 12mm).

maybe try to get some penetrant in there and let it soak for a bit...

those tubes are usually a bitch to get out especially if its never been out. yes there is a oring in there, but I dont see any harm in just permatex-ing it if you feel lazy
