knock sensor questions

knock sensor questions
I have a y8 in a 97 CX hatch (orig. a y7). I am currently installing a p30 with Skunk jumper harness...among my questions is-
My y8 has a knock sensor, my y7 harness has no means of supporting this, however, my p30 and jumper harness require the KS. What do I do besides chipping the ecu to disable the KS? How do I connect jumper to the KS- I dont have the plug that mates wiht the KS and also, do i need special type of wire for this? seems that is would be sensitive to interference...
