Default Knock Sensor Question-Check Engine Light

i put a b16a into my 90 Integra and my check engine light keeps coming on. it gives me code 23 wich is the Knock Sensor. i live in cali and i cant pass smog becouse cel keeps coming on, need help. any info plz

knock sensor has nothing to do with smog anyway

You can't pass smog with a b16a anyways, unless you converted the computer system to OBDII and using a b16 from a '99+ civic. I suggest you use your stock LS computer when you go smog and hope the smog guy doesn't know you're not supposed to have a vtec engine.

i have already tried two different knock sensors and i already tried grounding it.
