Default Knock sensor code 304

Dang it...whenever something gets fixed another thing goes wrong. What could be wrong with my car. We hooked it up to the my friends diagnostic tool and it gave a knock sensor error 304. What could be wrong? It seemed like everytime he cleared the codes and I would drive it, the CEL would not come on until i got anywhere near positive vacuum.

I've got a 98 Prelude. I remember it was a knock sensor code. My friend told me the code was 304. What I can remember is that the CEL had 2 long flashes followed by 3 short ones. I know for a fact its detonating. Do you think it could be that I need to retard my timing? And how many degrees should I retard it?

Thanks

I believe we set it to stock timing, however my car is boosted. I believe the stock timing is 15 degrees.

Ahh, boost. The forced induction guys should be able to help you out.
