Just recently picked up a K24A4 longblock and a 6 spd tranny and I have a couple of questions as to this is my first K motor. I'm looking to run the motor in my 92 Civic Si for street/track use. I'm looking to build 2.6 maybe 2.7 all motor K. I'm most likely gonna swap on the A2 head but thats where my questions open up. I have a friend of mine selling A2 rocker arm assembly, I would like to know if going with the A2 assembly will that be just as good as swapping the whole head? I've heard of someone running 246 hp with a similiar setup but haven't seen it myself. My next question has to do with the stroke and it's effect on torque. I would like to keep the stock stroke if not increase it but not sure if Ill end up sacrificing HP or torque. Also what piston size should I go with? I read on k20.org Skunk2 was looking into a kit for the K frank but still haven't heard anything from Skunk2. I have more questions but would like these answered first so I get some ideas going on.
