Default jdm type r motor question

ok i have a jdm b18c5 as the title says with a 96-98 p73 ecu, anyhow my question is, is that ecu consider obd1? or does it run two o2 sensors and if it is obd1 would it be better to make the car run an obd2 ecu and how might i do that? i appreciate the help thanks again. My car is a 99 dx hatch.

The 96 spec JDM ITR motors are OBD-1 and unless I'm mistaken should only run on one O2 sensor.
