obd1 to obd2 question

Default obd1 to obd2 question

i wanna run a 98 jdm type R ecu in my 94 cx. other than the conversion harness, what else do i need to do. do i need to run the second o2 sensor or don't i need it.

Im running a p73 ecu myself(jdm itr ecu). however I also have the motor. I ecu is obd2 but ecu works like an obd-1 ecu and using the the sensor on the exhaust manifold near the end where the collector is. Just us the jumper harness and you'll be fine if everything is ok now. The jdm itr ecu basically works just like the p28. It only looks for one o2 sensor!!

i also have a jdm type R engine. are you using 2 O2 sensor or just one?

If its really a JDM ITR ECU, you won't need any of the extra USDM OBD2 sensors. Stuff like the 2nd O2 sensor, crank fluctuation sensor, and fuel tank pressure sensor are not needed with a JDM ECU.
