Default JDM Engine Swap?

I am planning on doing a B18C swap into a em1. I need some advice, like I did some research but can never find the answer.
I want too make this this swap too be able to pass emission and be able to get it BAR'D. (California) I got the complete swap package from hmotorsonline.

1. I am planning on doing a B18C Type R swap, for the ECU can I just use a normal USDM P73, or will it have too be a USDM P73 type r?

2. I know that their are parts that the JDM engine doesn't have ,that the USDM have what are the things that are missing?

3. What parts should I replace in the JDM engine with USDM to pass emissions?

Default Re: JDM Engine Swap?

You will not need the type r ecu. A p72 ecu will be fine as the engine is functionally the same. You will need the usdm p72 ecu. I'm not an expert on this particular swap but more times than none the jdm intake components are the same as the usdm.

You just need to research a bit.
