I know JB weld works well on metals and non-moving parts so I wanted to use it on my b-pipe which has a hairline fracture or "crack" on it.. It calls for a maximum temp of 300C... do you know how hot the b-pipe can get on a NA car with basic mods? I'm not sure if JB weld can hold the heat.. anyone?

 

I put it on a pin hole that I had on the down pipe and it held up.

 

Thanks jeff for your input.. anyone else use it on an exhaust pipe of some sort? I need to spread it over a pretty large crack on my pipes but the crack is still pretty sealed or closed up if that makes sense...

 

Can you take it off and take it to an exhaust shop to put a bead of weld on it?
