Default ITR slugs on eagle rods

For my ls/vtec set up, Ive got a set of ITR pistons and eagle rods. My question is how are they machined to fit? I understand its easier to go with aftermarket pistons, but these will put the compression in the right area (not to mention they're cheaper ).

But I've searched and found that some of the pin has to be cut, and am concerned as to any machine shop can do it, if its just simply cutting and pressing them in or what?

Word up to versus motorsports and their speedy deliveries

take it to a machine shop.....you have to open the wristpin whole, then put snap ring stays in.....

how's that?
