my friend was putting the guage faces and somehow touched the needle in the rpm. not it won't go back down below 1500 rpm, also, the lights in the guage don't wok and i can't somehow adjust the clock. also, when he was putting the guage, the battery died and now, my alarm won't work. when he was putting the guage, he said he has to cut one of the wires that goes into the cluster, and after he fused together the wires(wire going into the cluster, and the wire from the guage face), this whole thing started to happen. any suggestions or how to fix it???

um i wouldn't let your friend touch your car again. you don't have to cut any wires to put new guage faces on. I would just pull the cluster out and make sure he reconnected everything, and make sure the new faces aren't rubbing against the tach needle keeping it from going back to 0
