Default ITR and LS syncros interchangeable????

I need new 3rd/4th gear syncros for my hydro LS tranny but honda only sells the whole 3rd gear set which is about $250. I looked under the ITR parts and they have the sleeve set for it that includeds the syncros for $180. Will I be able to use them on my LS tranny?

Thanks,
Ed

Hey bense! you the one I actually wanted to hear from. I read some of you how-to's becuase I want to do what you suggested...use itr 3rd and 4th gears. Do I need to do anything on the countershaft? or can I just change them on the mainshaft?

You have to replace them on BOTH the mainshaft and countershafts.
