Default Can I put the 4.785 ITR Final Drive on a LS tranny?

I wanted to know if I could use a 4.785 ITR FD on a LS tranny? Has anyone done it? Anyone know of any links, for reference?

He said Final Gear not "the last gear"

Some people need to learn to read.. I've never seen it done but who knows..

I was hoping to get into the Honda Challenge in a few years or so and they don't aloow modification of the gears, but the FD is open to change. I have seen some inexpensive LS hydro trannys and thought about dropping in a KAAZ and a ITR FD. I don't want to run a gear type LSD since I have heard they don't do well when a wheel gets lifted and then slams back into the ground. I appreciate the help guys

yes the 4.785 OEM HONDA FD can be fitted in a ls tranny.. but you will also require a GSR/ITR Differential (kazz, oem LSD,QUAIFE,CUSCO) since the LS/B16A diffs are of different size and ring gear will not work on a LS/B16A diff

if you are going to be running in H4 Class with an integra ls then yea it would be worth it... if you are running H1 class then i would go with a type r tranny because you will be in competition with those that are running type r and k series motors...

I am shootin' for H1 since I will be running a hybrid '92 hatch. If you crunch the numbers it wont be to far off from a Type-R tranny and it can give you a little more rpm between gear shifts. I have a b16 right now that I will run just for SCCA for the next year or so, but I will probably be building a LSVTEC for competition in the HC.
