It's pretty much the same head, man. Just be sure to get new headbolts and make sure the gasket surfaces are good

yeah, its the same head except for the itr has dual valvesprings, more agressive cams, better retainers, and bigger LMA's. are you trying to get more power, or trying to get cool sounds? if you want some sounds, try ebay. they have all of those super ricer mods on there.

Doesn't a B16A head also have dual springs on the intake, just not the exhaust.

Seriously though, just get some nice cams and don't blow your money on an ITR head.

itr head= overpriced and hyped.

It's also worse if you want to port it since the port that they do from factory is not optimal.

in reality a type r head is the same casting as the b16 head they are both pr3's they do have dual springs on both intake and exhaust and they have a beefier cam but you can expect to pay a pretty penny for it just get a b16a head have it ported get some nice springs and retainers get some nice cams and a nice valve job and you will never look back and just incase you didnt know already try to keep away from automatic head cause there are certain years that have a different size keeper... you can spot those by the funky retainers...

Letīs say you had already a B18C6 head at home.. what would I need more than new bolts and gaskets? Headers? Intake manifold? Everything fits nicely?

Thanks.
