Default Purging air from coolant

I have a 1990 Accord LX. I have a problem with rough idle. One of the things I want to check is possible air in the coolant lines. What is the technique for doing an air purge?

take off the rad cap when the engine is cold then start the car and let it warm up or look by the thermostat for a bleeder nipple like whats on your brake caliper when u find it with the rad cap on and the car running open the nipple like u were bleeding your brakes
