Default Integra Type R fuel gauge problem

Just bought my first honda, and a week after buying it the fuel gauge has stopped working.

The guy who had it before me said he had a similar problem, but when he had it the low fuel light stayed on. But the gauge still worked. He took the car to honda and they checked and found aftermarket dial stickers to be obstructing the gauge. They removed and refitted and that fixed it for 1 1/2 year.

I have had the cluster out and the sticker is secure and the gauge moves fine.
When you put the needle to full it then moves down to the correct fuel level position. (Making me think the float it working) But when I drive it doesn't go down. And when I fill the car up it doesn't go up!

Please help! Cheers

your fuel gauge most likely is out, try to find a donor cluster and take the gauge out of it
