i have the b16a motor. it has a stock throttle body to my knowledge. i measured the inside dia and it was like 2.25". i ordered a 2.75 K&N filter and what i plan on doing is using a 2.25" to a 3" cupler so the filter will fit the 2.25" intake.

my question is am i going to see a tiny power increase because of the bigger filter OR is it going to seem constrictive going from a 3" filter opening to a 2.25" intake pipe?
