intake manifold sensor for b18b1
I'm trying to figure out what sensor it is... I know theres the tps, map and theres 2 more. the one im trying to find out is the one on the top of the intake manifold on the driver side. It has 2 vacuum hoses on top(an L-shape) and one on the bottom that hooks on the back of the intake manifold and then theres the connector. what sensor is that?
one is the intake air temperate sensor and the other is the idle air control valve...i kinda got lost on your description, but the IAC valve usually has a black cylinder attached to it, about the diameter of a quarter...
hope that helps.
hope that helps.
oh ok, Is the IAC valve behind the intake manifold? Cause I know that on the integra LS it has 2 sensors on the throttle body: the TPS sensor and the IAC is top, next to the TPS right? The Map sensor has a cylinder on it. Correct me if im wrong on this. I thought the IAT sensor was attached to my AEM intake?
If the one on the back driver's side has a black round disc on top with a small hose coming off the bottom going to the intake plenum, its the purge selinoid. The hose on top goes to the top of the charcoal cannister.
