Default intake?

ok i did a search and turned up noting,

now i know this is kinda a dumb question but its been relly bugging me so ill ask it anyway. what is the differnce betweeb a cold air intake and a ram/short ram intake? is one better than the other? thanks

Cold Air Intake pulls cold air from outside the engine bay into the throttle body. Because the air is colder it has a higher density. This means that there is more oxygen in the intake charge. More oxygen more power. They also provide a more direct path for the air to flow. Short rams do this too, but they do not have the advantage of receiving the colder air. IMO the CAI is better....
