whats the diffrence!?!?!
I've never heard of a short-ram cold air intake other than those intake systems similar to the comptech icebox intake system.
but to break it down, short ram intake is just the intake w/air filter that's installed in the engine bay. Short ram intakes are prone to heat loss in power i think thats how you put it? Because its prone to sucking in more hot air in the engine bay rather than cooler air which can result in loss of power when sucking in hot air because you suck in less o2 molecules?
Cold air intake is an intake system that extends to the bottom portion of the bumper/fender so that it sucks in cooler air which results in more o2 flowing through your intake. The problems with this is that its prone to hydrolocking if you were to drive through deep puddles etc.
