Default Installing Toda cams spec B's

I have a 2000 4DR GSR and i'm installing Toda cams spec B's, cam gears, valve springs and Ti retainers. My question is how often do i have to change my timing belt with these type of cams. I thank you in advance for all your input. Duce and be safe.

I'd probably just throw a Power Enterprise belt on there... tons stronger than the stock one and just the same, as I can see, as the Toda..less $$$ though

I'm interested too... with those specs, how often would the timing belt have to be changed? either if it was a stock on or a PE one? thanks! TTT

im pretty sure toda makes a really strong timing belt. if youre going all toda, then get it. if you do a lot of engine building, then you should be able to keep a good eye on youre belt. plus, stock timing belts are weaker than good ones mainly at high rpms. thats where youre gonna break one.

still no comment on how often they should be changed? I was thinking that after 60k, they should be spent, just as a precaution... anyone with a better input than me? thanks!

with high lift cams, most guys on the ITR fourm came to conclusion , that is should be done at least at 20k miles or so. do search they have been few with B's and belts wearing out. rember these cams might be streetable but they weren't designed to be easy on your equipment. as extra percaution, go with the PE or Toda belt, extra $150 is nothing when you look at the consequences of a broken belt ... I check all my components every oil change...pop open the valve cover, look at the whole valve train. check and if necessary the torque all the mounts, belts and pieces.

20k for the OEM belt, but how about the PE belt? I presently have a PE belt with 2500 miles on it and was curious as to when would be a good time to change it. (got B's and toda springs) anyone with acutal experience with this PE belt that needed change? thanks!
