Default Installing a switch for the fan

I just bought me a b16 rex and to turn the fan on you have to go into the bay and plug it in. How would i go about installing a switch and run it into the cab. Thanks.

i would hook up the fan properly as having engine temperature consistent is important. i would not put a manual switch in.

Fuses aren't the problem if the fan runs when you plug it in. Control is the problem. The harness has probably been hacked and the fan circuit is grounded all the time, that's why it runs right away when plugged in. It should be controled by a thermo-sensor on the back of the block that does the grounding when a certain temperature is reached.

Perfectionist has said it right, take the time and find out your issue. The short to ground is one possible failure, but if you can get a wiring diagram and go from there.
