Installed VAFC and get code 22 at higher RPM's.... WTF?
This has happened to my friend as well. Everything was kosher with my setup untill i installed the VAFC, now at high RPM's mainly in 3rd and sometimes 2nd, i get code 22 which is the VTEC oil pressure sensor. What gives? i know the VAFC is now wired in between the sensor and the ECU, is the ECU just throwing the code because it knows its not getting the proper signal? checked oil, all the basics, and everything was fine....?
Ran 100% flawless prior to installed the VAFC, yes it was done properly, and im left clueless...help!

i have a 94 del sol S and i followed the wiring diagram according to APexi to wire in the VTM wire, after i did this, can ran like *** and i got a CEL (code 3, the map sensor) stupid diagram licks ***. obviously the wire they specified for the VTM is the wrong one,,, just like how the TPS is the wrong one as well....
What is the proper pin for the VTM signal on a 94 del sol???

code 3 is map sensor,,, stupid Apexi says thats where you cut and wire in the VTM signal,,, WRONG! Trying to figure out where the VTM signal really is. Also apexi's diagram as to where the throttle signal should be is totally wrong as well...
yes,,, you car ran rough as **** and probably wouldnt idle,,, correct?
code 3 is the map sensor, after i reconnect it back to stock, the code went away and car ran like a champ..
Still throwing code 22 on high RPMs tho... stupid asses at apexi...
