Default OBDII CODE 22

well i installed a vafc II like other people had suggested but the code 22 still shows up and i also changed the plug that the green plug plugs into and its still showing up. The oil is fine, and when the check engine light is on sometimes it lets me redline normally and most of the it kicks back at 6200.
What else can i do?

wait, were u getting the cel code 22 before u installed the VAFC or after the VAFC install. if ur getting it after u installed the VAFC then u probably didnt hook it up right. u probably got the VTEC 'in' and 'out' wires on the VAFC switched.

but if u had the CEL code 22 b4 u installed the VAFC, u might have low oil (but u said thats not the case) or a burnt out vtec solenoid. there might be more causes for that code too

yea check the vtec solenoid, clean the filter or replace that thing...if a cel 22 popped out after the vafc was installed it would be the vtm wire...

Its your VTM wire. go to the ecu look for the vtm wire check to see if it is connected if not connect it but make it a single loop dont have it running with full loop you will have to snip the factory vtm wire.
