Just turn it on out. You can reinstall the stud in the head after the manifold is off.

yeah thats what I thought, but it just spins in there, I don't get it, I can't pull it out and I can't spin/turn it out, I don't understand what it could be doing there, I guess the stud is spinning but its still threaded enough to hold itself in there...any ideas anyone???????????//

Take the rest of the nuts off and pull on the intake to help get it out.

Is the nut lose at all ? Any space at all between the manifold and head ? If so you could try and put a small screw driver in the space, and pry a bit to put pressure on the stud. Maybe it would hold it in place if not maybe it would put enouph pressure to make the stud come out?? Make sure not to push tooo hard or you could put a dent in it. Good Luck

Ya you will probably damage the gasket ???????? Man that sucks and its the one under the manifold so there is np way to try and grind or cut the bolt/stud. Wow the only other idea it to R-R the head but alittle costly on the parts and labor
Wish you luck.
Wish you luck.
that happens alot to people, the bolt is probably stripped and its just sitting in there spining since theres on threads left. If you did what was mentioned, use a screw driver and pry alittle under the nut while trying to unscrew it, it'll most likely come out. if not grind the nut off and remove the IM then use a pair of vice grips and pull and unscrew it at the same time

i think my idea of grinding the head/nut off would be better. If you break it off it may break in the IM which would cause a headache. If you just grind it flush with the IM you would have more of the bolt to work with
