Default I'm an idiot...fuel lines at filter backwards

I replaced my fuel filter a while back and today I noticed that the fuel lines were backwards. I don't know what I was thinking. I didn't really notice any new problems with performance or anything. My question is do I need to replace the filter before I swap the lines around to their correct position or can I just reuse this one. It's only a few months old. Less than 1k miles on it. I know a filter is only $15 but I'd rather not buy a new one if I don't have to.

No need to replace it after such a short interval.
