Im having some problems with my d15y7
Hey guys, I just purchased my first Honda this past Monday, and barely drove it home. The guy I bought it from said he swapped a d15b7 in the car, due to the previous engine locking up from a timing belt brake. Now, the motor itself seems to be ok, no weird noises/knocking or anything, but it is really running poorly.
When I start the car, it has a little trouble at first, and then it will get going with its idle. If it just sits in one place, it seems to idle really really low, and its shut off a couple times. When i drive it, during half throttle, it just seems to slow down, but WOT it kinda wakes back up a bit and starts going. Do you think its an ecu issue? The guy said it was a chipped P07 i believe....
Im just trying to get it in running condition for the winter, then probably do a b18 swap.
Thanks....
