car shakes when sitting still
haven't been able to figure this out. when the car is running and in gear, it shakes like a champ. if it is in park, it doesn't shake, and when it is gear, when i let off the brake the second i push on the gas the shaking stops and it is smooth as anything.
thanks for the help

Yeah sounds like a nasty running motor. I would suggest a tune up... set your timing... maybe a timing belt time. Give us a little more info since there are a few things it could be

i got the starter fixed. as most of you know the bottom bolt on the starter is kinda of a pain, well whoever changed the starter before me decided not to tighten it...so it being loose i guess is what caused the mount to break. anyways, it is a 92 with 218k. ALOT i know but it really runs great minus the shaky prob, no leaks, good mpg.
the rpms are at the 1st mark below 1k, when i am sitting stopped. Not sure what that # is but that is where it is. i have also noticed that it doesn't do as bad in revearse and in drive. if drive was 100% shaking then revearse would be 25%. and in N and P it goes away.
thanks again guys
