Ok.
I have a 99 si coupe with a b18b swap. I just bought the apex catback exhaust. Installed but its not fitting right.
The car had a custom piping and not the oem si exhaust. for some reason the apex fits like 2 inches into the rear bumper.
I took the exhaust to the place i bought it and it's the right one.

I think its my catalytic conv which seems really short since i matched it with my boys 96 integra.

Could it be the headers

Let me know if you have any ideas

are all the components of the exhaust for your car, if not start there.

 

the problem is really i don't know what catalytic conv I have on the car.
It could be an si or gsr
I know its not an ls.

 

they are different sizes, so if the header is correct and the cat back is correct, then shop for a replacement cat. http://www.roadraceengineering.com has a selection of universal stuff that can be cut to fit.

I had the same problem with mine, just ended up getting a longer resonantor which fixed the problem

 

i believe the GSR cat is longer to accomodate the shorter header

 

That makes sence but i really don't want to cut or alter my catback.
